The Coming Government of Yulia Tymoshenko

Ukrayinska Pravda has found out the make-up of the new Cabinet of Ministers as of the night of December 10-11. A number of Ministries still have a few candidates to choose from, but the backbone of the government is overall clear. The make-up of the Cabinet of Ministers is planned to be submitted for approval by a single resolution after the Verkhovna Rada reaches a decision about Yulia Tymoshenko’s premiership.

On Tuesday the Verkhovna Rada voted for Yulia Tymoshenko's candidacy for the post of the Prime Minister. Despite the fact that Ms. Tymoshenko was sure of the voting outcome the BYuT leader received 225 votes - one short of the absolute majority needed.
