The biggest quantity of votes in the parliamentary elections can get the Regions Party headed by Victor Yanukovych. It implies from the survey conveyed by the Ukrainian institute of social researches, Olga Balakireva, the Head of the Institute informed on Friday at the press conference.
According to the results of the survey, Regions Party will get 20% votes, Yulia Tymoshenko’s Block – 13.8%, People’s Union “Our Ukraine” (NSNU) – 12.3%. 8.9% of the people that have taken part in the survey are ready to give their voices for the Socialist Party of Ukraine, 6.7% - for the Communist Party of Ukraine, 5.2% are ready to vote for the Lytvyn’s National Block and approximately 3% of respondents will vote for Nataliya Vitrenko’s Block.
Two thirds (66%) are sure that they will take part in the elections, 17% consider that they most likely will come to the polls. About 11% of the respondents more likely or precisely will note vote on the parliamentary elections in March next year. 6% were at a loss with the answer.
The highest level of political activity is in the western regions of Ukraine – 84% of the respondents are sure there that they will take part in the elections. The same data in Crimea – 56%, in eastern parts of the country and in Kyiv – 59% are ready to come to the polls.
Answering the question about support of the block, which probably will head the former president Leonid Kuchma, 1% said that they were going to vote for him, and 1% said they most likely would support that block. 75% definitely will not support such block, and 12% most likely will not support it.
Besides, the majority of the respondents are sure that the results of the parliamentary elections will be forged. So, 18% are sure that the results will be forged, 40% think that the results most likely will be forged. At the same time 19% consider that the results most likely will not be forged, 5% are sure that the results will definitely not be forged.
Among the persons representing the authorities of Ukraine, the highest level of trust has the president of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko – 16% completely trust the president, 28% - more likely trust, than don’t trust; 25% completely don’t trust, 23% - don’t trust.
The survey was conveyed in all regions of Ukraine, including Crimea and Kyiv, from 7 to 15 of October. 2117 respondents took part in the survey. Estimated error makes 2.16%.
