Youth and Sports Minister Yuriy Pavlenko appointed under Our Ukraine quota claims that he has not submitted a resignation directly to the Verkhovna Rada, having handed it for Our Ukraine leader.
Pavlenko says that the ministers from Our Ukraine are going to quit just after the completion of the coalition talks.
“By submitting resignation to Our Ukraine we made a political move, demonstrating our willingness to quit. If we had handed in applications to the Verkhovna Rada we should have laid legal authority for our resignation,” he added.
Health Minister Yuriy Polyachenko confirmed the fact of submitting resignations by Our Ukraine ministers, yet none of the ministers could specify the number of dismissing officials.
Pavlenko recalled that yesterday all the ministers, including the President’s quota – the Foreign, Defense and Interior Ministers, were ready to resign.
Yet Culture Minister Ihor Lihovyi revealed to Ukrayinska Pravda that he had not handed in his application.
