Party of Regions (PRU) member Taras Chornovil announces that his political force does not deny the idea of forming the broad coalition.
In his opinion, PRU has just to wait until Our Ukraine convenes a session and makes a clear choice.
“If Katerynchuk’s stance prevails, in which I personally doubt, we should quit the negotiations and seek understanding with the President, ignoring Our Ukraine as a political force,” the MP thinks.
“All the abovementioned may happen under condition that the President makes a sound move and relinquishes from Honorary Head of Our Ukraine, otherwise this party sinks him giving no possibility to work effectively,” he underlines.
Chornovil and his party may pin hopes only on so-called pragmatic part of Our Ukraine, that is Yuriy Yekhanurov, Anatoliy Kinakh, Petro Poroshenko or Olexandr Tretyakov who stand for teaming up with PRU.
“We should wait until the war of nerves between the President’s Secretariat and the Cabinet of Ministers ends … by the President’s defeat,” PRU member urges.
Speaking about Our Ukraine future, Chornovil assures it soon looses its prestige and collapses being out of power.
Tymoshenko’s future is none the better: she thought her opposition status gave her extra points, but her rating keeps dropping, tending to reach Nataliya Vitrenko’s level, PRU MP gloomy predicts.
When asked whether Yushchenko could convince Our Ukraine to resume talks on the coalition, Chornovil answered: “I think that Yushchenko has no impact upon Our Ukraine. He cannot keep anything under his control either.”
