The plenary meeting of the Verkhovna Rada did not take place at 11 a.m.
The Party of Regions faction continued to block the parliament tribune, presidium of governmental and judges’ box and also the area where the system Rada is located.
Among those who blocked the tribune of the Verkhovna Rada was Viktor Yanukovych, the leader of the Party of Rregions faction, reports UNIAN.
At the same time, according to the leader of Socialist Party of Ukraine Oleksandr Moroz, on Friday at 9 a.m. the leaders of factions of the Verkhovna Rada will try to agree about unblocking of the parliament’s work.
‘Regions’ are blocking the parliament’s work from June27. This way the oppositional deputies protest against anticipated packet voting for candidatures for the posts of prime minister and speaker.
Our Ukraine, Yuliya Tymoshenko Bloc, and Socialist Party of Ukraine were going to conduct this voting on Thursday. They propose Petro Poroshenko for the post of the chairman of the parliament, and Yuliya Tymoshenko for the prime minister post.
