Party of Regions will urge President Viktor Yushchenko to appoint Viktor Yanukovych for a post of a prime-minister.
Yevhen Kushnaryov, one of the party’s leaders, declared that in the interview, reports Liga.
According to him, if the president does not appoint Yanukovych within 15 days, then Party of Regions will “respond adequately”.
According to Kushnaryov, lawyers and political strategists of Party of Regions are working over this item.
“I think, we shall find adequate form of reaction on inaction of the president,” he said.
“We expect that the president will put off all his personal sympathies and antipathies, and do everything to finish the formation of professional and active government,” said the declaration on Party of Regions’ site.
Regions also stress that the anti-crisis coalition “is open for all political forces and deputies that wish to support Ukraine’s overcoming the crisis.”
“We are ready to form active government and take responsibility for the situation in the country,” said the declaration.
