Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych held the meetings with the leaders of key Russian oil companies – President of OJSC Lukoil Vagit Alekperov and Alfa Consortium President Mikhail Fridman.
The participants expressed assurance in cooperation maintenance between the government and the oil companies. They will support the oil prices stability in Ukraine.
“The government has an important task – to create the relevant conditions for investment of native oil processing plants and to supply Ukrainians by quality petrol and diesel oil produced in Ukrainian oil processing plants,” stressed Yanukovych.
Prime Minister of Ukraine issued a commission to optimize the tariff and transit policies for growth of Russian transit oil volume through Ukraine and to stimulate the growth of oil refining volumes on Ukrainian oil processing plants.
