Party of Regions (PRU) leader Viktor Yanukovych was elected head of the opposition shadow cabinet.
The shadow offices were distributed as follows:
Minister of Finance – Mykola Azarov
Minister of the Economy – Iryna Akimova
Minister of Defence – Oleksandr Kuzmuk
Minister of Interior Affairs – Mykola Dzhyha
Minister of Fuel and Energy – Yuriy Boyko
Minister of Coal Industry – Serhiy Tulub
Minister of Transport and Communications – Volodymyr Kozak
Minister of Labor and Social Policy – Mykhaylo Papiev
Minister of Education and Science – Dmytro Tabachnyk
Minister for Foreign Affairs – Kostyantyn Hryshchenko
Minister of Justice – Oleksandr Lavrynovych
Minister of Environmental Protection – Anatoliy Tolstoukhov
Minister of Agrarian Policy – Viktor Slauta
Minister of Housing and Communal Services – Oleksandr Popov
Minister for Family, Youth and Sport – Viktor Korzh
Minister of Industrial Policy – Anatoliy Kinakh
Minister of Emergencies – Nestor Shufrych
Minister of Construction and Regional Development – Volodymyr Yatsuba.
Volodymyr Lyovochkin headed the shadow National Bank and Inna Bohoslovska the State Taxation Administration.
Offices of the State Security Services, the State Custom Service and Minister of Culture heads are vacant for the other coalition partners.
