This is according to deputy head of the President’s secretariat Maryna Stavniychuk, the President’s press service reports.
She explained the situation saying that on December, 24 the new government adopted a resolution repealing 34 acts of the former Cabinet under motivation of their contradiction to the Constitution.
“In connection with this, the President nullified his decrees which actually suspended the action of those Cabinet acts from April to December 2007,” stated Mrs. Stavniychuk.
“In such a way were eliminated the grounds for suspending these acts and submitting them to the Constitutional Court,” mentioned the deputy head.
According to her, among these acts were resolutions on conditions of the auction sale of the Odessa port plant and on management of the Ukrtatnafta company.
“Those notorious acts were suspended by the President in the interests of the Ukrainian people,” underlined Mrs. Stavniychuk.
