The Natalia Vitrenko Bloc in Donetsk region is recruiting volunteers against NATO military exercises “Sea Breeze 2007”.
Leader of Mrs. Vitrenko’s faction in Donetsk region, Natalia Bilotserkivska said that many volunteers are ready to participate.
Nevertheless, she declined to specify the number of people ready to go to Mykolaiv to protest against the military exercises.
“We do not know for now whether we can provide food for all the volunteers,” stated Mr. Bilotserkivska.
The regular joint exercises of Ukraine and NATO’s navies called “Sea Breeze 2007” will take place between July 9 and 22 near Mykolaiv.
More than 1200 military and naval personnel from fourteen countries and 21 naval vessels are to take part in them.
The State Security Service is going to carry out an educational program aimed at preventing disruption of “Sea Breeze 2007”.
